The Xbox Game Pass subscription service already has six games for subscribers to look forward to in November, thanks to previous release date announcements. Microsoft will reveal all of the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2022 next month, but fans can get a sneak peek ahead of time.

With the console release of Humankind being postponed indefinitely, there are now six games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in November 2022. The Legend of Tianding, a side-scrolling action game set in Taiwan that has received “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews on Steam, will kick off the month. While fans have yet to play the console version, if it’s anything like the PC version, it’ll be a fantastic new addition to the Game Pass lineup.

Another side-scrolling game will join the Xbox Game Pass lineup a few days later, with Ghost Song set to launch on November 3. Ghost Song is a Metroidvania-style game with elements of sci-fi and cosmic horror. It’ll be available on Game Pass just a few days after Halloween, so those who are still in the mood for the spooky season should check it out.

November 2022: New Xbox game pass games

On November 8, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to another day one game, Football Manager 2023. Football Manager 2023 is the latest installment in the popular soccer management simulation series. The games have all been mostly well-received by critics, and there’s little reason to believe that the latest installment will be any different when it comes out next month.

The following week, another day one game will be added to Xbox Game Pass, this time from Microsoft’s own Obsidian Entertainment. Obsidian has already had a successful year thanks to the 1.0 release of Grounded, and fans of the studio’s work will be able to check out its next project, Pentiment, on November 15. Pentiment is an RPG with a multi-decade story that asks players to investigate a mysterious murder. The game’s distinct art style is inspired by medieval paintings and the like, which should set it apart from the other games that will join Game Pass in November 2022.

The day one Xbox Game Pass games just keep coming in November, with Gungrave GORE arriving a week after Pentiment. Gungrave GORE is the third installment in the Gungrave video game series, a collection of cult classic third-person shooter games from the PlayStation 2 era. Gungrave GORE is the first new Gungrave game in 18 years, so fans of the series should be thrilled. The jury is still out on whether the new game lives up to its predecessors, but Xbox Game Pass subscribers can find out without paying anything extra.

Finally, on November 30, the first-person game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will be added to Game Pass, though there is a catch that subscribers should be aware of. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide for Xbox Series X has been delayed indefinitely, with no new release date announced as of this writing. While the game will not be available to Game Pass subscribers on console, those with PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate who have a PC will be able to play it. This may not be ideal for those who enjoy gaming on their new Series X consoles, but at least they have access to it.

Of course, these six games are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to new Xbox Game Pass games arriving in November 2022. The rest of the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2022 will be revealed in two waves, with the first wave announced at the beginning of the month and the second wave announced around the beginning of the month. There should be plenty of new games for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to enjoy in November 2022, but it should be noted that some games will be removed from the service as well. Games that leave Xbox Game Pass typically leave on the 15th and 30th of the month, so fans can expect to see a number of departures on November 15 and November 30. Fans will have to wait until next month to learn about all of the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass, but they will also have to wait to learn about all of the games leaving Game Pass.
